SOFIA'S 9TH BIRTHDAY TODAY

It has been nine years since my little angel, Sofia, first came into this world. And it has been 19 months since she left us. I picked some flowers for her, and made a donation, to help fight Histiocytosis.

SOFIA WRISTBAND MADNESS EVENT SPREADS THE WORD

15,000 PINK/PURPLE WRISTBANDS, 85 VOLUNTEERS, 30 LOCATIONS. Wristbands with the name of Sofia's website, WWW.SOFIAMAZE.COM, were handed out at popular spots all over the South Bay and Santa Cruz County on Saturday May 23rd. The event was a great success - thanks to all the amazing people who helped! Prizes for craziest, most inventive and cutest pictures went to: Ethan and Lanie; Lexi, Trinity and Violet; Cassie and Isabella.

IT'S SOFIA'S BIRTHDAY TODAY! SOFIAMAZE LAUNCHES IN HER HONOR

Sofia Marcile Wardle would have been 8 years old today. To celebrate her birthday and her life, the SofiaMaze was launched today. The game is super fun, challenging and it's free to play. Even if you never met Sofia, you'll feel like you know her after you have finished.

SENTINEL TO COVER LAUNCH OF SOFIAMAZE

The Santa Cruz Sentinel Newspaper contacted me yesterday for a phone interview about the launch of the SofiaMaze. The reporter couldn't give an exact date for the article, but felt it would be in the next couple of days, hopefully on Friday, since that would be Sofia's birthday. The reporter was excited to help raise awareness about histiocytosis and drive traffic to the SofiaMaze. DW

GUERRILLA MARKETING PLANNED FOR MID-MAY

Sometime in Mid-May at a date to be determined, friends of the SofiaMaze will be staging a guerrilla marketing campaign at popular spots in the South Bay and Santa Cruz County. This will be a lot of fun and a great way to help raise funds and awareness of histiocytosis by driving traffic to the SofiaMaze. There will be a BBQ afterwards at Sofia's house.
